COVID-19 Information

Bellarmine is praying for you, an end to the pandemic and that we will be open for the retreat that you registering for on our site. Given the nature of the reopening stages it is difficult to name all of the guidelines from the state of Illinois and the Archdiocese of Chicago that will be required at that time of your retreat. Please know that we will follow their guidelines. When we open, in the near-term the retreat experience will be different and we will  follow new procedures for the health and well-being of all of our retreatants such as:

  • Keeping physical distancing of six feet between retreatants
  • Wearing masks when in common areas including the chapel and hallways
  • Not sharing bibles, missalettes, prayer books, library books, and other materials that have commonly been shared
Once we are closer to your scheduled retreat, we will share with you via email confirmation the protocols that will be in place. Therefore, when registering please provide your most often checked email address and phone number so that we can keep you up to speed when we know more.
Registering now saves your spot for the retreat. We will have fewer spots available on retreats this season, likely less than 50. There may be opportunities to attend some retreats virtually via zoom or a similar platform, please email if you are interested
We look forward to having you here at Bellarmine.

Registration Instructions
Retreats at Bellarmine are for individuals 18 and older. To register a single person, put a quantity of 1 in either the deposit field or the full retreat cost field (NOT BOTH). Up to four people can be registered at a time.
If you wish to make a separate, additional donation to Bellarmine that is not part of the suggested retreat contribution, you may do so using the "Make an Additional Donation" field at the bottom of the form.
Contribution/Donation Information
Retreat House expenses are covered by contributions from our retreatants and donations from other retreatants and benefactors. Limited financial resources should not prevent anyone from making a retreat. The generosity of retreatants who can offer more than the suggested contribution helps us to cover the expenses of caring for and cleaning our beautiful land and sacred spaces and providing a retreat to all regardless of their current ability to contribute.

The $100 deposit is applied toward the suggested contribution for each retreat. In the event of a cancellation 3 days before the retreat begins, you may move your deposit to another retreat within the same season (September to May), request a refund, or donate your deposit as a tax-deductible gift to Bellarmine. The deposit may be moved only once per retreat season.
